The doctors took him out of the operation theater around 3 pm after the 50-minute neuro-surgery. The actor's whole family was present here in the hospital. In the medical language, the surgery was to fix the chronic subdural hematoma condition.
"The surgery has been done successfully and Hrithik is fine now. The doctors have said that he will be discharged after 48 hours," said the filmmaker.
Adding to Hrithik's condition, Rakesh said, "He is completely out of danger and will be completely recovered very soon."
Talking to the media-persons before the surgery, Rakesh said, "He is being examined for 'a clot in the brain' and in medical terms it is called 'chronic subdural hematoma".
Hrithik had, earlier, informed his fans about his surgery through his Facebook account.
The sturdy actor marked a fabulous Bollywood debut with blockbuster love story "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" in 2000 and in his 13 ravishing acting career he has delivered many super-hit films like "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", "Koi... Mil Gaya", "Krrish", "Dhoom 2", "Jodhaa Akbar", "Agneepath" and "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara".
Hrithik was running busy shooting for his much awaited upcoming flick 'Krrish 3', which is the third installment of his Indian superhero flick Krrish. Both the previous parts, 'Koi... Mil Gaya' and 'Krrish', were directed by his father Rakesh Roshan under the home production banner FilmKraft.
Now the third part is also being directed by Hrithik's father.
Recently, Hrithik unveiled the digital motion poster of 'Krrish 3' on Facebook. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters a day after Diwali on November 4 this year.
Besides the home project, Hrithik has also signed two other films 'Shuddhi' with Dharma Productions and 'Bang Bang' with Fox Star Studios. Shuddhi is expected to hit the floors during the end of the year 2013.
This was Hrithik's second surgery. Earlier, the actor underwent a knee surgery in United States in 2011.
